Back

Hello, internets. Remember me?

I've been to two conventions in the last two and a half weeks, and will be at another in three more days. Last night was the first time I'd slept in my own bed in a week in a half, and only the sixth time I'd done so in nearly three weeks. My brain and body (and especially the long-suffering liver and lungs) are beaten, but I've had a great time and seen lots of terrific people. Now I have loads of work to get done before the end of the month, and have to try to remember how this whole typing thing works.

I'll share a bit more when I'm a little more cogent, but thought I'd chime in so no one suspected I was dead or anything.

I'm not dead.

So, how are you, internets? Hear any good news lately?

Comments:
Welcome back man, well at least temporarily. Congrats on your awards, Monkeybrain is top notch and the Secret Files of the Diogenes Club is a fine, fine book.
I've been running a little ragged myself so I sympathise with your plight, and somewhat comforted that, at least, I have my own bed to crash in. By the by, Guardians of the Galaxy is really great, three issues in and I'm already getting the feeling like I've been reading the book for months, it's that packed. Okay, this has gone on long enough, but I wanted to let you know that I recommended Set the Seas on Fire to a Lovecraft AND Perez-Reverte fan I met in Borders last week. No thanks necessary only doing my part for the Movement.
Greg

Neither of these points may be news to you, but they're positive:
-- The STAR TREK anthology with "Brave New World" is out. Just got my copy.
-- The announcement that Mark Waid is going to be scripting an Incredibles limited series for Boom is for my money the best news that came out of this year's San Diego con.

Oh,hell...I forgot about your Fables limited series, Chris, when I phrased that last comment. Bill is going to iron his head now...

Woo hoo, congrats!!!

Thanks everybody! And thanks especially for the plug, Greg.

And don't worry about ironing your head, Bill. Hell, *I* tend to forget what I'm working on, too, from time to time...

Welcome back, silly overextended person. I've missed you.

No good news on my end, but I'm enjoying the hell out of yours.

Thanks, Patty!

I hope that "no good news" just means "an absence of good news," and not "news that is no good"...
