I was so disgusted with the 'revisions' that Lucas made to the first three films that I wrote off the whole franchise. I never understood why they didn't release these before. It's not like they won't sell.

Hell, I might even buy a copy of Star Wars to have the original.

Now can we do this with Blade Runner and THX-1138?

John, do you mean to say that you share with me the heresy of preferring the "voice over" theatrical release of Blade Runner to the various director's cuts? I thought I was the only one!
 

So now the real question is, when is Lucas going to recant his statements about never having any plans for Episodes 7-9?

After the TV series ends its run, and the revenue streams slow to a trickle. THAT'S when Lucas says "I'd always planned nine films. Why would you think otherwise?"
