Scott Westerfeld has just kicked off an interesting discussion about "elasticity" in time travel stories, which I'm following with interest. By invoking the Many Worlds theorem in my own time travel stories I've managed to sidestep the whole question of paradox entirely, but I'm always fascinated to see how other people address the issue.
