If I'm understanding it correctly, this skit was the winning entry from last week's Kasou Taisho, "a semi-annual competition with skits that frequently involve Bunraku-style puppetry." So, running that all together, the winning entry in the most recent Kasou Taisho was a Manzai comedy routine with Bunraku-style "special effects." Did I get that right?

In any event, here it is. The level of invention is just dazzling.
