Monday Linkage
Here's a random assortment of items of interest I've saved over the last week.
- Mark Waid has some solid advice on finding the emotional core of a character.
- Enjoy an excerpt of the first chapter of Mark Charan Newton's forthcoming Nights of Villjamur.
- The BBC has posted Paul Cornell's audio adaptation of Iain Banks's The State of the Art.
- And speaking of Paul, listen to him and Alan Davis talk about Captain Britain on the Panel Borders podcast.

I really liked Waid's piece about the emotional core of a character (though I'll probably never be a big fan of Thor).
I've never been a huge Thor fan myself, Bill, but after finishing Lee & Kirby's Fantastic Four run yesterday, my next big reading project is going to be their run on Thor, so maybe I'll feel differently in a while. (I'm taking a sidetrip through Byrne's run on the FF first, though, and may revisit Waid's run as well before I'm through.)
