Batman: The Brave and the Bold

I am really looking forward to this show.

Comments:
Wow.

Give me the *real* Blue Beetle any day instead.

I loved Ted Kord (and Dan Garrett for that matter), but I've been really impressed with the Jaime Reyes stories, starting with John Rogers terrific run on the book with Keith Giffen and Cully Hamner.

(In the interests of full disclosure, my old pal Matt Sturges is writing the book now, but I loved the book before he signed onboard.)

If you've not tried the new Blue Beetle series, you should check it out. Rogers and company managed to fit the new character into a legacy with Kord and Garrett in a terrifically clever way, while at the same time being very respectful to the original characters.

Yeah, I can't wait for this show either. Looks like tons of fun. Gentleman Ghost!

Looks really, really good. I just wish they'd go with the Neal Adams costume for Ollie. The Golden Age duds are, well, a little underwhelming.

I don't know, Jayme, I find the old GA togs charming. (Though it might be cooler if they included a red ascot like Darwyn Cooke did in New Frontier...)
