Marshall Rogers RIP

Newsarama is reporting that comic artist Marshall Rogers has died at the age of 57. Along with Jim Aparo and Neal Adams, he was one of the seminal artists on Batman in the 1970s, and was my personal favorite of the bunch.

Comments:
This is sad - especially since 57 is not very old. He was my favorite as well, along with Neal Adams, but not Jim Aparo. I would add Michaeld Golden. Rogers and Englehart's run on Batman was a landmark for it's time.

Too bad. Rogers brought a great sensibility to work on Batman and so many other characters.

Newsarama notes that he was from Flushing, NY, like me and a number of other science fiction and comics people.
